book 7 lesson 13

TEXT 13: CONTROL
Most of us feel it would be great “to be in control” of everything, but the fact is that we are not in control: principles are.
Some system and tools can help us control our time, maximize productivity, and accomplish tasks and projects. Despite the availability of many methods for better administrating our lives, people still have problems that result in stress.
Because being in control of time is so important, most school in the United States have classroom materials that include time management systems.
When we are not in control of our time our success is at risk. To be successful in life, people have to make good use of their time.
Control can also refer to the control of body and mind, and in this area balance is important. People’s emotions, as well as a lack of motivation and direction, can lead to stress and frustration. This can be avoided by having good feelings, self-esteem and a high level of self-confidence.
Think positively – optimistic thinking brings great results. The result does not depend on the organizing system you choose.
Try starting with simple organizing tools like a notepad and pen. Many successful people use only these simple tools to control their projects and tasks.
Be flexible. Sometimes a better and faster way to get to your goal may be found. Never forget your goals. Keep track of your goals and be flexible in your plans.
Take a break from time to time.
Breaks are also important. Use this time to stretch, relax or exercise body and mind. Leave you work room occasionally so that you don’t become annoyed or sleepy. Control stress.
